Hero I-League broadcast graphics
The on-air look for a football season: score bars, team cards and player statistics, all read in a glance.
The online look for the Hero I-League and the Federation Cup, designed at Grasshopper Media in Noida for Wtvision India.
Broadcast graphics are read in a second or not at all. A viewer looks up, finds the score, and looks away again, so the score bar has to hold two clubs, a clock and a scoreline without ever competing with the match behind it. Everything sits on one baseline, in one weight, over a dark field that survives whatever colour the pitch throws at it.
I designed the look. The post production was built on Vizrt by the Wtvision motion graphics team.
